Canadians are eating fewer kilograms of whole foods each year, especially as food costs rise. In 2023, it was estimated that 46% of Canadian diets consist of Ultra-processed foods, mostly in the form of carbohydrates.
The Cost of Food
The cost of groceries per houshold in Alberta rose from $1062 per month in 2023, to $1357 per month in 2024. In 2024, a staggering 17% of Canadians say they are buying less food because of the rising cost of foods.
What We Offer
Our Food Boxes are a made up of high quality, nutrient dense vegetables and fruits, that are grown in the soil and the sunlight, without the use of chemicals.
These are not discount boxes of bruised and almost spoiled vegetables! The idea of these Food Boxes is not cheap food to save a buck. That's what the Ultra Processed food is for. Our aim is to provide the highest quality food for our community, at the most reasonable price. We believe good food should be readily available at prices that work for the producer and the consumer.
How It Works
Food boxes will be available for pickup once a week, for 20 weeks, from the first week of June, to the middle of October. Food Box Pickup is available in Onoway on Thursday afternoons, Spruce Grove on Saturday mornings, on farm pickup Saturday afternoons, and also the option of delivery to your doorstep on Tuesdays if you're living within a 50 km radius of the farm.

Note that if you would like to customize your order, we will send out a "fresh list" to all our subscriptions 2-3 days before you receive your order. The "fresh list" is simply a list of what is available that week.
Also, if you want to add any specific produce to your food box on any given week, simply purchase them in the online store 2-3 days before your Food Box delivery, and they will be available for pickup with your order.
